With a fiery quirk and irascible disposition to match it, Katsuki Bakugo is one of My Hero Academia's most outspoken and controversial characters. The abuse he has slung at Izuku Midoriya and the rest of Class 1-A may be egregious to some, though few can deny his commitment to excellence and his drive to succeed.

Because of the way Bakugo stands out not only from his peers but all of hero society, he has gained the attention of many of the anime's fans. To commemorate him and the unique perspective he brings, they have created explosively awesome artworks to honor the hotheaded hero.

10 Looking For Trouble

xioawan Yuki gives us Bakugo in his hero uniform, fist charged with an explosion soon to be unleashed. His crouched stance and broad, wicked smirk evince his preparedness for battle, bristling with anticipation from his mask to his boots.

The background is much familiar to what was seen in his first test, with Kacchan teaming up alongside Tenya against Deku and Uraraka. It was at the precipice of his derangement, where he was willing to hospitalize Midoriya in front of students and teachers alike to prove his superiority.

9 Lord Of Embers

Tin Nguyen creatively contrasts a cool background with Bakugo's literally and metaphorically explosive personality to complete this piece. The wicked smile he wears compliments his savage new outfit, embers flickering against his chiseled abs.

Intriguingly, these visuals are similar to All Might's "flame" for One For All and the way it billowed against the oppressive winds of time and injury. It is a subtle though effective means of correlating Kacchan with Toshinori. The aspiring hero looked up to him as a role model and idol almost as much as Midoriya.

8 Smoldering Eyes

Felicia Popescu presents Bakugo in a rare moment of clarity between his bouts of unbridled rage. Instead of a vicious grin or a furious scowl, he offers an authentic smile in her surprisingly sweet piece, his casual slouch eliciting a more easygoing demeanor.

The sparks in the artwork are worth noting, dancing about Kacchan's honed body and contributing to the image's background. Insatiable flames surge around his upper body, reminding us how imperative Bakugo's explosion quirk is to his identity as a hero and as an individual.

7 Ready To Roast

Ry-Spirit's creation recalls what makes Bakugo such a potent force to contend with. As devastating as his explosions are on their own (able to detonate entire blocks, as seen from his battle against Midoriya), they have another arguably more useful utility ~ propulsion.

By holding his hands behind him and activating his power, he can sail through the air on a torrent of fire, creating an effect much similar to flight. With the way he is able to navigate through this technique, it renders him one of Class 1-A's fastest and most versatile heroes. When Kacchan gets going, few opponents can stop him.

6 Surly Demeanor

SandSsart celebrates Bakugo's birthday properly through capturing his everyday demeanor, one twisted into an unwelcoming scowl. The reddish saturation of this piece well works in its favor, consistent with Kacchan's aesthetics and overall belligerent identity.

The usage of background is notably effective. One could reasonably interpret it as an artistic explosion or view it as the Japanese flag. It demonstrates that while the show may have a diverse cast of characters, it almost entirely occurs within the confines of Japan ~ All Might's tenure in America notwithstanding.

5 Heat Of Battle

TomislavArtz gives us Bakugo doing what he enjoys most; in the midst of battle. With rubble blasted in all directions and his veins throbbing intently, Bakugo howls and screams, preparing another explosion to unleash upon whoever is unfortunate enough to jeopardize the safety of Japan.

Ironically, the pose and location Kacchan is featured in here is familiar to that of Endeavor's battle against High-End. It is appropriate since Bakugo can be compared to him in the same way Midoriya may be measured with All Might.

4 Sharing His Feelings

Bakugo's anger is as familiar to him as Todoroki's coldness of Izuku's tears. It is one emotion which dominates his personality to such an extent that he raises his voice just as often as he speaks plainly.

SamuraiAmes calls attention to this through his bust, dynamically juxtaposing Bakugo's training outfit with a bright orange background and fitting caption. Its color scheme is appropriate to that of an explosion ~ and "King Explosion Murder" would not have it any other way.

3 All Grown Up

Here, sakimichan envisions a Bakugo all grown up, and judging by his milder expression, one that has somewhat matured. His new outfit maintains much of its previous iteration's themes (such as the power gauntlets, knee pads, and black boots lined in orange), with some minor differences.

He no longer has the strapped chest gear he once wore, and he has exchanged his mask for a comfortable headband and furs. It gives him a more exotic appeal, one reminiscent of his acid flinging associate, Mina Ashido. Though his visceral flame may have been tempered with age, it is clearly far from extinguished.

2 King Of The Road

Maniaxoi swelters Bakugo in flames on all sides, ones it's reasonable to assume he himself is responsible for if his predatory grin is any indication. He stretches his shoulder as he braces for more, his zeal for success and courage equally inexhaustible.

From clues in the background, we determine this image may have occurred in the simulated fight Kacchan had alongside Deku against All Might. Though he may have required Midoriya's help in passing the Symbol of Peace's trial, it's clear that there'll come a point where he'll be able to stand against any hero on his own merits.

1 Fueled By Dreams

The wittily named Quirkilicious brings Bakugo's entire life front and center as an explanation for his attitude. He wants to live up to the reputation he carved for himself, as seen through the companionship he shares with Kirishima on the left.

Perhaps more importantly, Kacchan also wants to honor All Might, becoming the same man he looked up to since he was a little boy. Though their differences may be significant, each hero strives for the same goal ~ to be the undisputed, greatest hero in all of Japan.
